Our History
A Townhouse With Good Bones
BestRankingUK began life as a row of Georgian townhouses on a quiet Mayfair square. Over the decades the building was joined, restored and reopened as a hotel, keeping its original façade, high ceilings and sash windows while the interior was rebuilt around modern comfort.
The ground floor casino lounge was added later, in keeping with the tradition of London townhouse hotels that once hosted private card rooms for their residents. Today it operates as a licensed, fully regulated gaming lounge open to hotel guests aged 18 and over.
What hasn't changed is the pace of the place — a hotel built for people who want a proper evening, not a checklist of amenities.
